help you reach your full potential! The Western Client Contact Centre is looking for
bilingual candidates for full-time Taxpayer Services Agent positions for the 2025 tax
filing season.
What is this job opportunity about?
As a Taxpayer Services Agent, your primary duty is to interact with taxpayers on the
phone and offer quality service to meet their needs with courtesy, empathy, and
professionalism.
This position is ideal for people who like to help others and who can communicate
fluently in English and in French. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting
distance to the Western Client Contact Centre, located at Central City, 13450 102
Avenue, Surrey, BC.
A CRA representative will help guide you through the application process. Suitable
candidates will be interviewed to determine if the minimum staffing requirements
(education, experience) are met. You will also undergo security screening and a second
language evaluation.
Important information about the position:
• Successful candidates must be available to attend full-time, in-person training
starting Monday, January 13, 2025, and commit to a full-time hybrid work
schedule when training is complete.
• Hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Pacific time. You
must be available to work all scheduled hours. Working hours and schedules
may fluctuate to meet operational needs.
• You must have access to the tools necessary for teleworking (for example: a
high-speed internet connection).
Taxpayer Services Agents respond to tax-related enquiries or requests over the
phone by:
• gathering taxpayer information to establish the nature of the enquiry or request
• operating various computer applications and systems to enter information,
research, analyze and resolve taxpayer enquiries and requests
• educating taxpayers by providing information and promoting available services
